OFFICIAL RITUAL RULES
A. The Conference shall promote Ritual Competition for all teams (Aerie/Auxiliary) that desire to compete.
Committee Chairman
A2. There shall be an Aerie and Auxiliary Ritual Chairperson appointed by the Conference Chairmen (Host).
A3. The MINK Committee Ritual Chairman along with the Ritual Chairmen are responsible for securing the site for competition and setting the schedule for ritual competition.
A4. The Ritual Chairmen along with the MINK Committee Ritual Chairman are responsible for contacting all judges regarding their times for working.
B1. A Ritual competitor may compete on an Aerie/Auxiliary team, District team, Zone team or State team. Competitor must compete at different stations in each category if on more than one team. A District, Zone or State team may not have more than two (2) people from any one Aerie/Auxiliary on said team.
B2. Shotgun teams may be permitted which is the luck of the draw. There must be five competitors to have a team.
C. A Novice team can compete for only one (1) year in the Novice class.
D. Cash prizes will be awarded by class of the teams.
E. If participating in Ritual Competition only, Section 5.1 of the Bylaws applies. No Registration Fee will be charged – only the required ritual entry fee applicable.
F. A fifteen ($15.00) entry fee is required from all teams entering the competition. A five ($5.00) entry fee is required from an individual competing on a shotgun team.
G. Four (4) judges and on (1) alternate judge are to be submitted by the respective State Ritual Chairman to the M.I.N.K. Committee Ritual Chairman.
H. Men will judge Aerie teams and women will judge Auxiliary teams. There will be five (5) judges for each team.
I. Judges cannot be a member of a competing team. Judges should not be present when their state is competing.
J. Competition shall start on Friday evening preceding the Conference.
K. Visitors will be allowed into competition only with the permission of the team competing.
L. A Secretary, Inside Guard and Candidates (if desired) will be provided if the team does not have their own.
M. Winners and prizes will be announced at the Conference Banquet on Saturday night by The MINK Committee Ritual Chairman. Only one (1) ritual book and one (1) score sheet will be given to each team. (Include the Ritual Co-Chairman in the announcement of the winners and prizes)
N. The MINK Committee Ritual Chairman will notify the 1st place team from the previous year, in advance, they will be doing the Opening & Closing Ceremony at the next annual M.I.N.K. Conference. If they are unable to do so, them the 2nd place team will be notified by the MINK Committee Ritual Chairman.
O. There will be no “All State” or “All Star” teams as there are many different judges for the various team competing.
